- The competition will run from January 1st, 2007 through December 31st, 2007.
- Each team will be comprised of all the Alpha Gamma Delta Alumni that graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic in the same year (i.e. graduating class of 2006 would include May 06 and December 06 graduates)
- Each team will have a captain that will be in charge of contacting their respective team members to foster communication and encourage donations.
- Contact with other alumni to encourage them to donate is limited to the captain only.
- The captain’s contact with other alumni must remain professional and unobtrusive and must cease should any alumni request so.
- If you prefer not to be contacted by your team captain please email your request to Collene Swalinski (coll6233@gmail.com).
- Donations can be made through Paypal using the link on the Alumni portion of the AGD ZH homepage or by mailing a check to: Maria Milcetic, 29 Woodlawn Avenue, Albany, NY 12208
- Multiple donations made in the same year by one person (i.e. Paypal monthly donations) will all count towards the competition.
- Donations made towards other undergraduate fundraising initiatives will also count towards the class wars competition. (i.e. silent auction)
- The winning teams will be those who rank #1 in each of the following categories:
1. Highest total donations
2. Highest percentage of graduating class donating
3. Highest average donation per team member
- Winning teams will receive a plaque at IRD in the spring of 2008 to be placed in the new house with their class year on it.
- The goal of the year’s campaign is $10,000. Any money raised above this amount will be saved in the HA Budget for use towards future initiatives.
- The money that is raised, up to $10,000, will be used towards the purchase of furnishings for the new chapter house.
- Contributions towards this campaign are not tax-deductible.
- Donations will only be counted if the donor supplies their graduating year.
